The Scouts

The Scouts are one of Iceland’s largest and most established youth organizations, and have played an important role in the education and social development of young people for decades. Their work is rooted in values such as cooperation, independence, responsibility, and a strong connection to nature, impacting thousands of children and young people across the country.

The Scouts approached Klick with the goal of creating a new website that would be both user-friendly and easy to manage. It was important that the platform could serve a diverse audience and make it simple to access information about the organization’s work, events, and projects.

The new website plays a key role in communicating the activities of the Scout movement, while also making it easier for children, parents, and other interested parties to learn about Scouting and get involved.

At the same time, the site needed to be built in a way that allows the team to keep it active and up to date, with new news, information, and content published regularly.

A User-Friendly Website that Supports Work and Information Sharing

Klick designed and developed a new website for Skátarnir, with a focus on clear information architecture and a simple, intuitive user interface. The design was shaped to reflect the values and spirit of Scouting, while ensuring that users can easily find the information they are looking for.



The site was built on a user-friendly content management system that enables the team to update content, publish news, and manage information about Skátarnir’s activities without technical complexity.

Alongside the website development, Sahara produced marketing materials for the project, including photography, video, and graphic content. A promotional campaign was also launched to introduce the new visual identity and raise awareness of the updated website and Skátarnir’s activities.

The result is a modern and accessible website that better supports information sharing and the organization’s work. Users can now more easily find relevant information and learn about what the Scout movement has to offer.

The team has also been provided with a simple and effective tool for keeping the site active and continuously developing it with new content and updates. Together with the new website and the supporting campaign, Skátarnir’s digital presence has been strengthened, presenting a refreshed identity in a clear and accessible way.
