Earth Lagoon Mývatn is one of the most well-known natural baths in Iceland. The baths were previously known as Mývatn Nature Baths but recently underwent a complete rebranding, introducing a new name, new visual identity and a new direction for the guest experience.

Earth Lagoon approached Klick with the goal of building a new website from scratch that supported the company's new brand and new strategy. The website needed to reflect the new image of the venue in a clear and professional way, while being simple for guests to use and easy to manage.



A strong focus was placed on creating a strong digital foundation for future marketing efforts. The website needed to support search engine optimization, offer a clear content structure, work quickly and reliably on all devices, and be built so that it would be easy to add new content and develop the site over time.

Website built from scratch for a new brand

Klick rebuilt the website from scratch with a focus on clarity, user experience, and future-proofing. The design was done in line with Earth Lagoon's new visual strategy, emphasizing a clean and modern presentation that captures the atmosphere of the place and the surroundings of Lake Mývatn.



The site’s information flow was reorganized to make it easier for visitors to understand the experience, find useful information, and explore what the site has to offer. The website was also built with a flexible CMS system that allows the team to add content, expand the site, and continue to develop SEO visibility without complex maintenance.

Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that the website works perfectly on mobile devices, as a large portion of visitors are already traveling around Iceland. In parallel, updated tracking systems were installed, including a cookie system and CAPI connection, as well as a technical foundation for SEO was built to support ongoing marketing efforts.

The result is a modern and visually strong website that reflects Earth Lagoon's new image. The content is better organized, the user flow is clearer, and the overall visitor experience is much better.

The team now has access to a reliable and user-friendly content management system that allows them to further develop the site, add content, and support future marketing efforts.
