The Scouts

The Scouts are one of the largest and most established youth organizations in the country and have played an important role in the upbringing and social participation of young people in Iceland for decades. The work is based on values such as cooperation, independence, responsibility and a connection to nature, and has an impact on thousands of children and young people across the country.

The Scouts approached Klick with the goal of building a new website that would be both user-friendly and easy to manage. It was important that the website could serve a diverse group of users and make it easy for them to find information about the Scouts' work, events and projects.

The new website plays an important role in disseminating information about the work of the Scout movement, as well as making it easier for children, parents, and other interested parties to learn about Scouting and participate.

At the same time, the website needed to be built in a way that would make it easy for the team to keep it updated and alive for the future, with new information, news, and content regularly published.

A user-friendly website that supports work & sharing

Klick designed and built a new website for the Scouts with a focus on clear information flow and a simple user interface. The design was developed to reflect the values and spirit of Scouting while making it easy for users to find the information they are looking for.

The site was set up with a user-friendly content management system that allows the team to update content, publish news, and manage information about the scouts' activities without complicated maintenance.

Alongside the website development, Sahara produced marketing materials for the project, including photographs, videos and graphic content. A promotional campaign was also launched to introduce the new look and raise awareness of the updated website and the Scouts' activities.

The result is a modern and accessible website that better supports the dissemination of information and the work of the Scouts. Users now have an easier time finding information about the work and learning about what the Scout movement has to offer.

The team has also been given a simple and effective tool to keep the site alive and develop it further with new content and information. With the new website and a parallel promotional campaign, the scouts' digital foundation has been strengthened and a new look has been presented in a clear and accessible way.
