Efling approached Klick with a clear objective: to bring its website in line with the organization’s updated visual identity. Significant effort had already gone into a comprehensive rebrand, including a refreshed office environment and new promotional materials. The website needed to reflect this evolution and complete a cohesive, unified experience.

At the same time, the association faced a practical challenge. Members often struggled to find information online and instead relied on calling for assistance. This placed unnecessary strain on staff and slowed down service delivery.

The goal was therefore twofold: to align Efling’s digital presence with its new identity, and to make information more accessible—reducing reliance on customer service while improving the overall user experience.

A New, User-Centered Website for Efling

To achieve these goals, the website was redesigned from the ground up with a strong focus on simplicity and clarity.

The platform was built in Duda, enabling staff to easily maintain and update content without requiring technical expertise. This addressed previous challenges, where even minor content changes were complex and time-consuming. At the heart of the solution, however, was a deep understanding of user behavior.

Klick started with a fundamental question: where do members begin their search? The insight was straightforward—members know which company they work for.



Building on this, Klick developed a tailored, user-centric solution where navigation starts from the user’s own context. The result is a simpler, more intuitive experience that shortens the path to information and helps users quickly find exactly what they need.

Collective Agreement Search Engine

A powerful search tool allows members to enter a company name or ID number and instantly access all relevant information about their terms, salaries, and rights.

Information is presented in a clear and structured way, free from unnecessary distractions. This streamlines the experience and significantly shortens the path to the right answer. The solution is powered by an API integration with Efling’s database, ensuring that all data is accurate and updated in real time.

Event Calendar

A new, flexible event calendar enables users to filter events by type and date, creating a clearer overview and making it easier to discover relevant activities.

Holiday Home system

Klick also developed a new system for presenting Efling’s holiday homes. Users can browse properties by region and access detailed information about each option through a simple and intuitive interface.

A Warm, Accessible Design that Enhances the User Experience

The website’s design is built around soft, calming tones that enhance readability and reduce visual strain—an important consideration given the volume of content and its information-heavy nature.

The color palette draws inspiration from illustrations by Snorri Eldjárn, giving the site a distinct sense of warmth and personality. These visuals are used deliberately to break up dense content, creating a more approachable and human-centered experience.
