About the client & goals

Efling approached Klick with the goal of giving the website a new look that would align with the company's updated look. A lot of work had already gone into rebranding, along with a new look for the office and promotional materials, so it was important that the website followed that development and created a cohesive experience.


At the same time, the association faced a clear challenge: members often had difficulty finding information on the website and therefore preferred to call. This created increased pressure on staff and slowed down service.


The goal was therefore twofold: To harmonize Efling's digital image and to improve access to information and reduce the burden on customer service.

To achieve these goals, the website was redesigned from the ground up with a focus on simplicity and clarity.


The site was set up in Duda, which allows staff to easily maintain and update content without technical expertise. This solved previous challenges where content changes were complex and time-consuming. However, the core of the solution was to understand user behavior.


Klick set out with simple questions: What do members know and where do they start their search? The answer was clear – members know which company they work for. Based on that insight, Klick developed a customized solution based on simple, user-centric thinking where the starting point of search is always close to the user themselves. The solution aims to simplify the experience, shorten the path to information and ensure that users find what they are looking for in the most efficient way.

Collective agreement search engine

A search engine that allows members to enter a company name or ID number and immediately receive all relevant information about their terms, salaries and rights.


The information is presented in a clear and concise manner, without unnecessary distractions or irrelevant content. This simplifies the experience and shortens the user's path to the right answer. The solution was implemented with an API connection to Efling's database, ensuring that data is both updated and accessible in real time.


Event calendar

Klick has introduced a new and flexible event calendar where users can sort events by type and date. This provides a clearer overview and makes it easier for users to find relevant events.


Holiday home system

Klick also developed a new display system for Efling's vacation homes. There, users can categorize houses by region and view more detailed information about each house in a simple and accessible way.

Warm and accessible design that supports the experience

The website design is based on soft and soothing tones that support readability and reduce reading stress, which is especially important since the content is extensive and information-driven.


The color palette is inspired by illustrations by Snorri Eldjárn, which give the website a personal and warm character. The imagery is used purposefully to break up the text and make the experience more accessible and human.
